Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for more than 10 seasons. She was a member as captain of the US Olympic women's gymnastics team Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold in both team floor as well as the individual events. The bronze was won with the balance bar. It made her an the only American gymnast at the Olympics to earn the most medals. She took gold in the team event in the 2016 Olympics, which was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. Silver medals were awarded in the floor individual and all-around competitions. In between the two Olympics she took a break from gymnastics competition for three years. In addition, she was part of two world championship gold winning teams. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her most favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly participates in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization to honor and remember her mother. Aly is planning to pursue a career as a designer. The next goal she has is expanding her trademark range of leotards. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will be released at the end of this year.
